Administration Decries 'Democrat Fabrication' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Images Released

Democratic lawmakers have made public a additional set of what they labeled "troubling" photographs from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 images—some of which have been previously circulated—combined with another 70 released later on Friday account for a minuscule portion of the almost 100,000 images released to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.

The disgraced financier was a victim of an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking charges.

High-Profile Individuals in the Images

Among the notable figures shown in the initial batch are public figures featuring movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are blacked out.

Administration Response

The White House reacted to the release in a official comment, charging Democrats of selectively "cherry-picking" the photographs for partisan aims and to "try and create a false narrative."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a presidential representative remarked, maintaining that "the Trump administration has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by consistently demanding openness, disclosing thousands of pages of records, and demanding additional probes into Epstein's liberal connections."

Congressional Democrat Statement

The images were published without context, but per a California Democrat and senior member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's links with affluent people.

"The moment has come to halt this White House cover-up and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he stated in a comment.

The publication of these documents coincides with the oversight committee proceeding with its inquiry into the Epstein case.
