The City of Angels witnessed widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series title. Supporters across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Local events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage show thousands of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the Commissioner’s trophy high.
