Netflix Casts Perfect Actor for Mr. 2 in One Piece Season 3
The Secret Organization is set to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, even if the real showdown won’t unfold until season 3, and a beloved, popular member has just been cast.
The platform declared recently that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece season 3 cast and will portray Bon Clay. Bon Clay has the ability to change into an exact copy of any individual they’ve made contact with with their main hand. Escola, who is non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will depict a version of that role reimagined as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag artist, in the live-action show, as in the initial comic and anime.
This performer is joined by multiple fresh additions tasked with bringing the group to the screen, such as leader Sir Crocodile, portrayed by the well-known actor, a talented actress as another operative, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who will appear as the lineup as the ruler of the fictional land.
Even though the role is a major member of the group, the character won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment. With season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden arc, this marks a notable change in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could indicate additional alterations to the plot development.
Escola’s blend of excellent comedic sense and emotional depth makes them a perfect fit for the part. Along with their current animated role in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and several accolades for penning and acting in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, showcasing the adaptability they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.
The streaming service’s real-life One Piece program is set to return for its next installment on the tenth of March, 2026.
